FB-9: Paddlers Guide to Quetico Provincial Park ($10.50)
This comprehensive book is a guide to 18 entry points and 31 routes that touch all parts of this million-acre wilderness. Following a brief summary of each route, the book takes the reader through the entire trip, day by day, commenting on points of interest along the way, including Indian pictographs, campsite locations and portages. Maps are suggested. A four-color, fold-out map that shows all the routes described, pictograph locations and campsites throughout the park are included.
FB-1: Canoe Country Map Book ($17.50)
A complete set of the 15 maps covering the Superior-Quetico canoe country from Grand Portage to International Falls. All of the land in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area, Voyageurs National Park and Quetico Provincial Park is included. Forest boundaries, motor routes, portages and campsites are detailed. The book is an excellent reference to the canoe country and is helpful in trip planning. A historical map is also included.
FB-6: A Paddler's Guide to the BWCA in NE MN ($9.50)
A 76-page, soft-cover guidebook that gives detailed descriptions of 31 wilderness canoe routes. Each trip description contains precise travel instructions, portage information, fishing information and physical details about each of the lakes on the route. Also noted are history, geography, flora and fauna of the B.W.C.A. Also included is practical information such as what to take on a canoe trip, and what types of foods are best for camping.
MB-1: Kekekabic Trail Guide Book ($12.95)
This pocket guide to the Kekekabic Trail, (a 38 mile long wilderness hiking trail located in the BWCAW), is 33 pages long. It contains trail history, trail descriptions, two, four and six day hiking scenarios, route descriptions and maps. The guide book is printed on waterproof paper for durable use in the field.
